Martha Cohen Theatre

Home to Alberta Theatre Projects since 1985, the Martha Cohen Theatre is a courtyard-shaped, Georgian-style theatre. With three levels of seating in a three-quarter circle, the farthest seat is a mere 39 feet (12 m) from the stage. The stage was built with versatility in mind and can be set up as theatre-in-the round, thrust, proscenium, promenade, or cabaret configurations. There are five stage elevators that assist with the stage set up and changing the stage height or shape. Recent upgrades to the seating and lighting console mean the theatre lives up to the highest standards of comfort and technical capabilities.
