Ticket Access Program for Werklund Centre
Werklund Centre believes that equitable access to the arts is a human right. Ticket price should not be a barrier to anyone wishing to attend Werklund Centre programming events. We're proud to offer the following ticket programs to ensure all of Calgary is able to enjoy our premier performing arts centre free of financial stress.
Please note: all offers are limited to ticket availability and may not apply to every performance in our season. If you need help booking tickets, please call our Box Offie at 403-294-9494 or email boxoffice@werklundcentre.ca.
Canoo
If you are a new Canadian, you can discover what Werklund Centre programming has to offer through the Institute for Canadian Citizenship's Canoo program. Visit the Canoo website to see if you qualify. If you do, download the app and search through available offers for the Calgary area.
City of Calgary Recreation Fee Assistance
Calgarians who have already been approved for the Fair Entry program with the City of Calgary may also apply for Recreation Fee Assistance. If approved, you can receive discounts on rates for all ages for recreation programs and amenities across the city (as long as your Fair Entry status is valid). This includes a special discounted rate on Werklund Centre programming event tickets. Contact the City for more details.
Indigenous Access Ticketing Program
We are making Werklund Centre programming more accessible to First Nations, Inuit, and Metis communities in and around Treaty 7 in the spirit of making relatives and advancing reconciliation, through our Indigenous Access Ticketing program.
In alignment with Werklund Centre's mission, mandate, values, and guiding principles, an First Nations, Inuit, and Metis-led or First Nations, Inuit, and Metis-serving community group or not-for-profit/charitable organization will be eligible for free tickets provided the tickets are allocated to First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples and provide increased access by Indigenous peoples to arts and culture experiences provided through Werklund Centre presentations.
To request tickets, please email indigenousaccess@werklundcentre.ca and provide:
• The name and description of your organization
• The name and date of the performance
• How many tickets you are requesting (max. 6 tickets)
Ticket Donation
Werklund Centre is a non-profit, registered charity and is pleased to support many community and charity events each year by donating performance tickets to fundraising events. Learn more about the program and criteria.
