As Vice President, Brand and Audience Development for Werklund Centre, Kaija applies her decades of creative and strategic experience to develop and promote the Werklund Centre brand and reputation through marketing and communications. Overseeing a team of creative and passionate individuals, she also leads the brand touchpoint initiatives that shape the overall customer experience with Werklund Centre.   

With an extensive background and education in both visual communications, design, and fine arts, Kaija previously held the position of Creative Manager with Werklund Centre, and the Glenbow Museum prior to that. Her love for the arts and design spills over into personal work that expands into painting, sewing, and interior design. 

Kaija’s two long-nosed sight hounds remind her to get out and take long hikes in the foothills.
