Kim Berjian
Kim Berjian is a CPA with more than 28 years of experience as a Tax Director and registered lobbyist for two global oil and gas companies. Throughout her career, she held senior leadership roles and was widely recognized for her expertise in tax, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
She served as Vice-President, Canadian Affairs for the Tax Executives Institute and as Chair of the Indirect Tax Committee for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP). In these roles, she helped shape industry dialogue and policy on key tax and regulatory issues affecting the energy sector.
Kim has received numerous awards from both her employers and external organizations in recognition of her exceptional leadership and contributions to major projects and initiatives.
She is also deeply committed to community leadership and philanthropy. Kim currently serves as a Director on the Board of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and is a member of its Finance Committee. She previously served as Vice Chair of the Mount Royal University Foundation, where she was also a member of the Governance Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee. In addition, she served on the board of West Island College, where she led the Fund Development Committee.
Kim is a strong advocate for giving back to the community and has extensive experience supporting charitable and fundraising initiatives. Her volunteer leadership includes serving as Vice Chair of the Contemporary Calgary LOOK Gala and participating on fundraising committees for the Calgary Health Foundation, YWCA YWHISPER Gala, Calgary Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation, Calgary Stampede Foundation, Renfrew Educational Services, and the Famous 5 Foundation.
