Artist Biography
Sierra Oszust is an emerging Canadian dance artist recognized for her distinctive perspective and dedication to her craft. A graduate of the University of Calgary with a BFA in Dance, she has developed her practice over more than a decade through local and international projects. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Sierra works to expand her technique and creativity through performance and collaboration. She has performed with W&M Physical Theatre (2021–present) and WM2, and has appeared in film and television productions including Crystal Clear (2024) and Under the Banner of Heaven (2022). Her artistic voice has been shaped by collaborations with Michèle Moss, Wojciech Mochniej, Melissa Monteros, Christianne Ullmark, Rufi Oswaldo, and others. Residencies at Shawbrook (2024) and Temper Theatre (2025) have further broadened her global outlook. Sierra’s work seeks to intertwine the physical body with emotional complexity, crafting performances that challenge convention and offer unexpected perspectives.
