Artist Biography
Sara Mason, a nonbinary emerging artist from Mohkínstsis (formerly Calgary), graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2018. Using a variety of artistic mediums, Sara’s art delves into the Queer experience, exploring the connection between community and identity. Emerging in their artistic journey, Sara is actively exploring public art as a means to expand their practice further, seeking to engage with a broader audience and offering the Queer existence a spotlight.
