In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that Werklund Centre is located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Iyarhe Nakoda (Chiniki, Goodstoney/Kichipwot, and Bearspaw First Nations). This territory is also the home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Districts 5 and 6. We thank these Nations for sharing this land with us and commit to being good stewards of this land, while we are here. We welcome all who work, live, and play in, as well as honour and celebrate this historic territory.
