One Yellow Rabbit Presents
My Name Is Karen
Written and Performed by Karen Hines
Directed by Blake Brooker
As part of the 2027 High Performance Rodeo
What happens when a meme becomes a mirror?
Once upon a time, Karen was just someone's mom. Now she's a meme and an insult, and also the internet's favourite punchline.
My Name Is Karen takes that cultural shorthand and gleefully tears it apart. With razor-sharp satire and zero interest in easy answers, the show skewers outrage, entitlement and our collective obsession with deciding who's right, who's wrong and who's about to go viral.
She's fearless and uncomfortably familiar and almost certainly looking to talk to the manager.
Because it's always easier to laugh... until the joke starts sounding like you.
