Join National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory for a visually stunning and unexpectedly hopeful journey into some of the wildest and most threatened places on Earth, from remote polar seas and collapsing ice worlds to predator-filled coastlines, dense jungles, and rapidly changing ecosystems. Hosted by Jay Ingram of the intensely popular Daily Planet television series, the evening will also feature an engaging conversation that brings Jay’s signature curiosity and storytelling to Bertie’s extraordinary experiences.

Drawing from years spent filming elusive apex predators and some of the planet’s most fragile environments, Bertie reveals that meaningful progress in nature rarely happens all at once. Survival and success depend on adaptability, resilience, collaboration, and the ability to respond intelligently to constantly changing conditions.

Whether navigating unpredictable weather systems, tracking wildlife in extreme environments, or documenting ecosystems transforming in real time, Bertie’s work demonstrates that breakthrough moments often come not from controlling uncertainty, but from learning how to move through it.

Through breathtaking imagery, behind-the-scenes expedition stories, humor, and cinematic storytelling, Bertie connects these lessons from the natural world to the challenges many of us face in our own lives: how to keep moving forward when problems feel overwhelming, how to adapt when conditions change, and how small moments of progress can build into something much larger over time.

With Jay Ingram guiding the conversation, audiences will get an intimate and engaging look at the person behind the camera — the adventures, unexpected challenges, close calls, and unforgettable encounters that have shaped Bertie’s work.

The result is an inspiring and deeply human presentation that leaves audiences with a renewed sense of curiosity, optimism, and connection to the planet — and a reminder that meaningful impact does not require saving the world overnight.
