Founded in 2004, Downstage creates provocative theatre that inspires conversation by exploring a wide range of social issues affecting our local communities. Working from their home in Werklund Centre's Motel Theatre, Downstage focuses on new work made by local artists, providing artistic experiences that are entertaining, inventive, thought-provoking and highly relevant.
