Artist Biography
Katherine Langdon is a painter based in Calgary, Alberta. Her practice combines disjointed oil painting techniques executed with images drawn from often obscure sources to explore how memory and identities are mediated through images. Langdon has exhibited in various group exhibitions and has a background in mural and graffiti work. She brings a sensitivity to scale, surface, and affect to her current practice. Langdon holds a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2025) and has contributed to works in numerous domestic and international exhibitions as a studio assistant specializing in experimental painting process for established artists.
