Echoes of the Land

Written by Werklund Centre | May 25, 2026 2:59:59 PM

Produced by Ghost River Theatre, Echoes of the Land invites audiences to immerse themselves in a transcendent auditory journey rooted in the spirit and rhythms of the land. Led by drummer and vocalist Cedric Lightning, traditional drummer and knowledge keeper Skip Wolfleg, spoken word poet Alanna Bluebird, and multi-disciplinary musicians Kris Demeanor and Kenna Burima, this unique performance transcends traditional theatre. Lie back and let the soothing, meditative sounds wash over you. Designed as a sound bath to engage the senses, audiences will lay flat on the floor, blindfolded (these will be provided), or with their eyes closed, fully immersed in a meditative realm of discovery and deep reflection on the land.

Please bring your own yoga mat.

Should you face a financial barrier to attending or have physical accessibility needs, please contact our Box Office. Limited availability.

There will be no late entry permitted for this event. Please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start time to secure your floor space.
